Milan's Win in Newcastle Proves Decisive

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) earned a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night, but it was enough to secure their place in the Champions League knockout stages thanks to AC Milan's victory at Newcastle.
Despite creating several chances throughout the game, PSG struggled to find a breakthrough against a resilient Dortmund defense. Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi both had chances to score, but their efforts were either saved or went wide.
Meanwhile, Milan's 1-0 win over Newcastle ensured that PSG would advance to the last 16 as Group H runners-up. The Italian side's victory meant that Dortmund could no longer catch up with PSG.
"We knew it would be a difficult game," said PSG manager Christophe Galtier after the match. "Dortmund are a good team, but we showed great character and determination to get the result we needed."
Mbappe echoed his manager's sentiments: "We're happy to be through to the next round. We didn't play our best tonight, but we showed that we have the mentality to win big matches."
PSG will now turn their attention to the domestic cup competitions, with a Coupe de France match against Marseille coming up on Sunday.
