Bhutan Queen Shares Photo of Princess on First Birthday

Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck of Bhutan has shared a new photo of her daughter, Princess Sonam Dechen Wangchuck, on the occasion of her first birthday

The photo shows the princess sitting on a white cushion, wearing a traditional Bhutanese kira, and holding a birthday cake

The photo was shared on the Queen's official Instagram account, along with a caption that read, "Happy first birthday to our little princess, Sonam Dechen Wangchuck!"

The princess was born on February 5, 2021, at the Lingkana Palace in Thimphu, Bhutan.

She is the second child of the King and Queen of Bhutan, and is the younger sister of His Royal Highness Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck.

The princess's first birthday was celebrated with a private ceremony at the palace, attended by her family and close friends.
